Ian Pratt Appointed Connectors Division Manager for Stäubli North America and Multi-Contact USA
WINDSOR, CA, mai 11, 2011 - Ian Pratt was recently selected to head Stäubli's Connectors Division as Division Manager for Stäubli North America and Multi-Contact USA. Mr. Pratt brings substantial experience to the position, having served previously as North American Sales and Marketing Manager for Multi-Contact.
Part of the Stäubli Group of companies, Multi-Contact is a leading manufacturer of electrical connectors and contacts. The firm has made its mark with advanced contact technologies such as its pioneering MC-Multilam® component for contact elements. Multi-Contact is heavily focused on the production of electromechanical components, primarily for plug connectors, but also for pressure, sliding and special contacts. Its connectors are used for industrial, medical, automatic systems and renewable energy applications. The global company is also credited with innovations in the area of test and measurement.

Prior to joining Multi-Contact, Mr. Pratt worked with Retech Systems LLC. Joining Retech as a Sales Manager, Mr. Pratt was promoted to New Product Development, followed by Engineering Manager for both mechanical and electrical engineering, and ultimately to Program Manager. He holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Oregon State University.
