ITW Highland Debuts New Website about High Precision Deep Drawn Stamping


Waterbury, CT - ITW Highland Manufacturing has developed a new website with comprehensive information about its capabilities for high precision, deep drawn stampings. The ITW Highland history of innovation, its facilities and equipment are fully described, including the capacity for high volume, precision components, from design & prototyping through tooling, production & secondary operations.

This integrated capacity ensures high precision control over every aspect of manufacturing at ITW Highland. Tolerances are defined for part sizes, material thicknesses, lengths, true position, diameter-to-length ratios and more. A range of process variations, including threading, beading, reverse draw, side piercing, necking, bulging and marking are all pictured and described. Other sections contain information about individual markets served, the components that are typically produced for those market segments and the range of materials ITW Highland can process.

The production section chronicles ITW Highland's primary 150,000 square foot facility on its 12 acre campus in Waterbury CT. Images and text illustrate the plant's engineering design, prototyping, tool & die production areas, which are fully integrated with production manufacturing & secondary operations. Process descriptions and images of in-house & outside secondaries are included.
