IPC APEX EXPO Named in Trade Show News Network's Top 250 Trade Show List
BANNOCKBURN, Ill., USA — IPC – Association Connecting Electronics Industries® announces that IPC APEX EXPO® 2012 has been recognized by the Trade Show News Network (TSNN) as one of the top 250 trade shows in the United States. Coming in at 166 for 2012 marks a jump from 2011’s ranking of 189.
IPC Senior Director of Trade Shows & Events Alicia Balonek reported that the 2012 show surpassed its participant and exhibition goals and marked a 26 percent increase in attendance over 2011.
IPC APEX EXPO was founded to provide a cost-effective exhibition focused on the printed board and electronics manufacturing industries. Balonek explains, “This show was created by our members to bring customers and suppliers together in an educational and mutually beneficial area. Every decision we’ve made regarding the conference and exhibition has been to improve the event for participants.”
Preliminary post-show survey feedback from attendees of the recently held 2013 show has been very positive. More than 90 percent of respondents said the show met or exceeded their top objectives. “IPC APEX EXPO was a great experience for me. I am new to the industry and I feel that the professional development courses provided an excellent foundation for my education. I feel like I gained 5 years’ experience in a three-day trip,” said Jeffry Hanwell, chemical engineer, Lincoln Electric Company.
