IRVINE, Calif., Dec. 28 /-- IOGEAR today announced it was honored by PC World, the most widely-read computer or business magazine, with a 2008 PC World 25 Most Innovative Products Award for its Wireless USB (W-USB) Hub & Adapter Kit (GUWH104KIT).
The 2008 PC World 25 Most Innovative Products Award winners were announced December 28, 2007 on http://www.pcworld.com/ and will be presented with trophies on January 7, 2008 at the ShowStoppers media reception at the Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas during 2008 International CES. A 2008 CES Innovations award honoree, a USB Implementers Forum (USB-IF) and FCC-certified W-USB Hub & Adapter kit enables residential and small and home office (SOHO) users to wirelessly transfer files and data at speeds up to 480 Mbps.

IOGEAR's Hub can associate with up to three different laptops or PCs, through W-USB adapters. It also features four USB ports and connects to wired USB devices, such as external hard drives printers, MP3 players and scanners. The Adapter plugs into the PC and wirelessly communicates with the Hub, which users can place up to 30 feet away.
With this complete W-USB solution, individuals can achieve fast wireless communication between computers and USB peripherals, enabling transmission of video, audio and picture files, as well as other high-bandwidth data, at a low power consumption rate.
