Elizabeth City, NC - Hoffer Flow Controls, Inc., a manufacturer of industrial flowmeters and electronics, recently expanded their manufacturing facility adding 8,000 square feet to the existing plant. The additional square footage will be used to accommodate a newly purchased "flowmeter air calibrator" which is scheduled to arrive in June. The new air calibrator will provide more capabilities to the existing Flowmeter Calibration Department. In addition, the space will allow for expanding their machine shop, more office space as well as the addition of an isolated carpentry area. Upgrades such as energy efficient "green" lighting, new security systems for the entire facility, and an upgrade to the fire alarm systems have been incorporated in the expansion.
