Hardy Instruments, Inc. recently appointed Ric Rummel as Director of Global Sales, based out of their corporate headquarters in San Diego, CA. Ric will have a key role in expanding existing and new business worldwide, including developing new growth opportunities for the company.
Prior to his appointment at Hardy Instruments, Ric was with Mettler Toledo, joining them after the 1999 acquisition of Dickey Scales, Tampa, Florida. In 1990, Ric began his career in weighing with Fairbanks Scales in Houston, TX. He started out as a field engineer and rapidly worked his way up through various management positions in weighing and process control. He was named Salesperson of the Year on three different occasions, Growth Champion in 2006, and 2007 Sales Manager of the Year in the Mettler Toledo Industrial Business. Ric has a history of leading teams to exceed targets in both revenue and profits with a heavy focus in account retention.
