Genesis HighSpeed Product Family Provides Exclusive Range of High-End DAQ Solutions
Darmstadt - March, 18 2009. HBM announced today that it has launched Genesis HighSpeed - a new product line for high-speed data acquisition and transient recording. The Genesis HighSpeed product family - formerly sold under the "LDS Nicolet" brand - enhances HBM test and measurement solutions by expanding the addressed frequency range and provides a full range of high-end data acquisition (DAQ) instrumentation.
Genesis HighSpeed products are intended for applications in the high-speed and ultra high-speed area and provide cutting-edge measurement technology, e.g. for structural tests, ballistics, aerospace or electrical tests. "Genesis HighSpeed solutions perfectly complement the existing HBM portfolio," said Klaus Lang, Business Development Manager for Genesis HighSpeed products at HBM. "Thus, we provide customers with full measurement chains and solutions from a single source: rugged sensors, state-of-the-art transducers, powerful DAQ instrumentation and the world's leading software for high-speed data acquisition - Perception. Genesis HighSpeed products share exceptionally high sampling rates ranging from 100kS/s up to 100MS/s per channel (100 million samples per second). Based on modular platforms, all systems can be configured exactly to the needs of the specific application, be it a single channel or a thousand. The GEN DAQ series comprises a wide range of ruggedized and portable solutions: high-end DAQ and transient recorder platforms, including power and isolation products for high-voltage applications.
