Innovative exhibit brings field communication solutions together for fair visitors

Austin, TX, USA - The HART® Communication Foundation (www.hartcomm.org) joins the FDT Group, Fieldbus Foundation, PI (PROFIBUS & PROFINET International) and OPC Foundation as co-sponsors of the Field Communication Lounge (www.fieldcommunicationlounge.com) exhibit at ACHEMA 2012 (18-22 June) in Frankfurt, Germany. Inside the Lounge, these field communication organizations will exhibit their individual process automation communication technologies in a common display area.

The HART multi-vendor exhibit in the Lounge includes two large demonstration displays-Get Connected and WirelessHART®-to educate users on the benefits of using HART-enabled devices to remain competitive in today's challenging economic environment.

The Get Connected display demonstrates HART technology and shows what HART information is available including diagnostics and troubleshooting. The WirelessHART display demonstrates how the set-up of a WirelessHART device is basically identical to that of a wired HART device and includes the WirelessHART adapter and the WirelessHART gateway.

The Field Communication Lounge is a cooperative exhibit where users can learn about and experience key technologies for process automation-their advantages, applications, integration and how they work together.
