Global Machine Brokers Hires and Expands

Machine Dealer Brings in New Employees, Expands Warehouse and Scope of Business

Watertown, CT – Global Machine Brokers of Watertown, Connecticut continues to grow as it hires two new employees and expands its floor space for storage of machinery. Along with the expansion of physical space and number of employees, Global is continuing to mature its newest division, Global Machine Movers, a full service rigging company. With all this growth, it is no surprise that Global is moving forward and moving fast.

In the last three months, Global has hired a new sales specialist and a mechanic to keep the business thriving. Tim Staino, a graduate of the School of Management at Boston University, was hired in mid-March to facilitate sales and to revamp the marketing campaign. He works hard to maintain sales goals while developing new ideas on how to promote the business. Roger Gosselin, a graduate of Universal Technical Institute, was hired in mid-June to preform maintenance and repairs to machines, lifts and company vehicles. Roger is not afraid to get his hands dirty and his work ethic and initiative make him a valuable member of the Global team. In other words, he plays a big role in keeping the business running, pun somewhat intended.

Global has also decided to expand its storage facility in Waterbury, Connecticut from 25,000 square feet to 50,000 square feet, with the potential to expand even further to almost 90,000 square feet of floor space. This decision resulted from an increase in the acquisition of machinery and the machine storage service Global provides to its clients. Accordingly, Global decided to enter into the rigging business to keep its momentum moving forward.

Appropriately, Global Machine Movers was born. Although only slightly over a year old, Global Machine Movers does not lack experience or equipment. Their team of riggers has been in the industry for almost all of their working lives, combining to have over 100 years of rigging experience. Along with experience, Global has acquired a substantial amount of rigging equipment including two semi-trailer trucks, two trailers, forklifts and rigging tools, giving Global the ability to move machinery in excess of 50,000 lbs.
