Germantown Tool & Machine Works, Inc has changed its name to Germantown Tool & Manufacturing as of June 16th, 2011. All operations remain the same.
We wanted a company name that more accurately described what we do, and at the same time, remember are roots.
Germantown Tool started out as a Tool and Die shop in the Germantown section of Philadelphia, Pa. in 1955. Today we still maintain a Tool and Die shop in our current location in Huntingdon Valley, PA, a suburb of Philadelphia.
Over the years, Germantown Tool has expanded into several additional Metalworking processes that has positioned us in the market as a Complete Metalworking Facility.
Our core capabilities are: o Metal Stampings (25 ton to 300 ton Presses)
o Sheet Metal Fabrication
o Welded Assemblies (Robotic and Hand)
o Laser Cut and Formed Parts
o Assembly
We will supply parts complete including finish (powder coat, paint, plating, etc.)
We also maintain a fully staffed Tool Room where we design and build all of our own Dies and Fixtures.
We have the ability to support a customer's requirements from product design and prototyping, through tooling design, build, and high volume production.
We supply a variety of markets including Office Furniture, Outdoor Power Equipment, Automotive, Transportation, Truck & Trailer, and General Industrial.
