Press release date: July 9, 2008

Redmond, Wash. (July 7, 2008) - As part of its continuing commitment to provide customers with first-class service and support, Genie Industries today launched a new online parts ordering system in North America, designed to increase ordering accuracy and customers' productivity. Used in conjunction with Genie's Serial Number Smart Parts Lookup System, customers will now be able to identify a part, add it to the virtual pick list, then roll the pick list directly into an online order.

Earlier this year, Genie launched the online Serial Number Smart Parts Lookup System, a user-friendly website with intuitive search functions that gives customers the parts listings they need, without having to download and navigate through cumbersome .pdf files. This system can be accessed by customers through the Genie website at www.genieindustries.com.

"The online Serial Number Smart Parts Lookup System is updated on a regular basis to provide the most accurate parts information possible to our customers," said Bob Sartini, regional service parts manager for Genie Industries. "By adding the online ordering function to the system, our goal is to help our customers become more productive with their work by spending less time ordering parts."

Genie customers with a registered account can access the system, look up and order parts for various Genie® products that currently include telescoping and articulating booms, scissor lifts, portable personnel lifts, material lifts, telehandlers produced in North America, as well as Terex® light towers and generators.

About Genie Headquartered in Redmond, Wash., with branch offices worldwide, Genie Industries manufactures material lifts, aerial work platforms, trailer-mounted booms and light towers, scissor lifts, self-propelled telescopic and articulating booms and telehandlers.
