Press release date: April 10, 2009

Mechanicsburg, Pa- Automation Systems Interconnect, Inc. is pleased to announce the release of their new fuse terminal blocks. The ASI fuse terminal block accepts the popular 5 x 20mm fuse that is found in many control circuit applications. A unique feature is the hinged disconnect lever which locks in the end position and accommodates fine fuses. In addition to the hinged style of fuse terminal block, ASI offers a screw-in type of fuse holder. The ASI fuse terminal blocks are available with or without blown fuse LED indication, which is a convenient way to locate blown fuses quickly in order to get your system back up and running in a timely manner.

These fuse terminal blocks are a part of ASI's new line of Phoenix Contact equivalent terminal blocks and accessories family. The ASIASK1 is equivalent to the Weidmuller ASK1 and the other fuse blocks are equivalent to those offered by Phoenix Contact. ASI is the first company to ever introduce terminal blocks that are identical equivalents to Phoenix Contact, Allen-Bradley and Weidmuller. All of these terminal blocks are identical in design, dimensions, specifications and materials. With a broad range of terminal blocks and accessories, ASI has a terminal block for any application.

Customers now have a true "equivalent" source and can save 30% to 50% and more by specifying the new equivalent terminal blocks at www.asi-ez.com. On the website there is a complete electronic cross-reference to Phoenix Contact, Weidmuller and Allen-Bradley along with prices and specifications. In addition, ASI provides rail assembly services to those companies that would prefer to purchase a fully completed assembly. The EZ Rail software program at www.asi-ez.com assists the customer in developing a DIN rail terminal block assembly.

More information including a new catalog, pricing, and availability can be obtained by calling ASI toll-free at 877-650-5160 or by visiting their website at www.asi-ez.com.
