Brookville, OH (May 14, 2009) -- Flow Dry Technology, Inc., a leading manufacturer of Desiccant Packages and active packaging solutions, has purchased the inventory and equipment for desiccant packet and bag production from Aridien Manufacturing, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Aridien, Inc. Flow Dry will continue production from the climate-controlled Belen, NM facility.
"The plant in Belen, NM employs a very capable team of people who have been very successful at producing high quality TyvekŪ packets for pharmaceutical markets and other applications. This is a strategic investment that will allow the capabilities and strengths of Aridien Manufacturing, Inc.'s advanced packet manufacturing processes to complement the marketing and international presence of Flow Dry. It is our intent to grow the packet business and perform continued development to meet active packaging needs of customers worldwide from the plant in Belen, NM. In addition, these solutions can be offered to our broad customer base from our other Flow Dry plants, including Brookville, Ohio, Komarom, Hungary, and Zhanjiagang, China", said Doug LeConey, President.
