FAA updates SQMS assessment tools.

FAA's National Simulator Program (NSP) has modified its Internet site with updated Simulator Quality Management System (SQMS) assessment tools. Updated files include Tables E.2, E.4, E.7A, and E.7B, while Tables D.8 and D.9 were also modified for NSP authorized discrepancy prioritization system in accordance with Part 60. Modifications are primarily error corrections as well as changes made to address industry concerns.

National Simulator Program Internet Site Update



The National Simulator Program (NSP) has modified the NSP internet site with updated Simulator Quality Management System (SQMS) assessment tools located at: www.faa.gov/about/initiatives/nsp/sqms/. The SQMS files affected are Tables E.2, E.4, E.7A, and E.7B. Also modified were the assessment tools (Tables D.8 and D.9) for an NSP authorized discrepancy prioritization system (DPS) in accordance with Part 60 (http://www.faa.gov/about/initiatives/nsp/sqms/sqms_more/). These modifications (highlighted in green within the documents) were primarily error corrections as well as changes that were made to address industry concerns.
