Embedded Platforms Analyst Paul Zorfass Partners with VDC
VDC is pleased to announce it is collaborating with Paul Zorfass and his technology research and consulting firm, First Technology Inc. (FTI). The partnership is designed to respond to increased demand for services from VDC clients, and to support the enhanced depth and breadth of VDC embedded market research programs.
Mr. Zorfass and FTI focus on embedded technology adoption criteria - including analysis of business, technical and commercial requirements. This work spans the major markets for embedded systems including: telecom and networking, industrial automation, defense/aerospace, and automotive. Mr. Zorfass' clients include many of the major embedded component vendors, IT multinationals and electronics OEMs. In addition, he has been engaged by many government agencies both in the US and abroad for advice and consulting.

Mr. Zorfass will be working on a team that is headed by VDC's Eric Heikkila and Eric Gulliksen.

ABOUT PAUL ZORFASS
Paul is the Chairman of the IEEE Communications Society, Boston Chapter. He has been technical chair for focused conferences surrounding Internet applications and Device building and an active presenter at embedded and boards conferences and seminars.
Paul has more than 25 years of experience as a developer, evaluator, opportunity analyst, and user of embedded and IT technologies. This includes being Executive Director of the Computer Research division of the Yankee Group and prior responsibilities as a principal and founder of two technology companies and an advisor to others.
He earned his BS and MA degrees in mathematics and physics from the New York City Colleges, with honors, and his MBA degree from Northeastern University.
