Fremont, CA, - Elma Electronic Inc, a global manufacturer of electronic packaging products, offers tapped strips for Eurocard extrusions and other electronics enclosures.
The Elma tapped strips have drilled and tapped holes in 0.2 in. internals along the steel strip. They are available in two cross sectional sizes, 2x6 and 1.8x5mm and with either M2.5 or M3 threads. The tapped strips allow front panels and other hardware to be screwed securely into the enclosure and the multiple attachment points are available to apply even pressure for EMI critical applications.
