Lloyd's Register to Handle Long-Standing ISO 9001 Quality Certification
Cincinnati, OH (January 4, 2008) - To maximize the efficiency of its external auditing, European pressure relief product manufacturer Elfab has moved its quality certification to a single accreditation body, Lloyd's Register.
Prior to the move, Lloyd's Register managed Elfab's PED compliance and environmental approvals. With this history, the relocation of Elfab's long-standing ISO 9001 accreditation to Lloyd's Register was a simple move.
The relocation comes as a step within Elfab's initiative to ensure the quality and safety of its products. As a manufacturer supplying international markets, Elfab's products meet multiple external accreditations for quality management including ASME VIII (USA), GOST R (Russia) and SQL (China). To continue meeting customers' high standards, Elfab has recently introduced a new testing and inspection lab to ensure product quality levels.
Elfab's future quality assurance efforts include achieving Environmental Management System ISO 14001, and development of effective ways to minimize environmental risks and demonstrate an environmentally-responsible approach.
