These scales are available in both Electronic as well as Mechanical models depending on requirements. Specifically designed for small to medium municipal and rural or remote water treatment sites, these Cylinder Scales are capable of accurately measuring the weight of liquefied gases such as chlorine, sulfur dioxide, ammonia, hydrogen chloride and carbon dioxide packaged in cylinders up to 12" in diameter. Scaletron Industries, Ltd. incorporates all of the important features in these small scales as they do in their larger units such as: low profile design to increase safety and ease of cylinder handling; solid-state operation by strain gauge transducer; accuracy of + 0.5% of capacity; readouts in pounds or kilograms; all electronics housed in NEMA 4x, UL approved enclosure; rugged corrosion resistant construction with molded Fiberglas base; self- locking knob for adjusting tare weight; 4-20mA output signal for permanent recording which is standard on all indicators; optional low level relay contacts; and a remote mounted indicator. In addition to the standard 3-1/2 digit LCD display indicator, these dual cylinder scales may be specified either with a 4-1/2 digit indicator or the Model 1099" Chemical Process Controller which allows users to combine different bases to create a customized Total Electronic SystemSM.
