Diablo Technologies Demos Memory Channel Storage Technology at Gigaom Structure Data

OTTAWA, Canada– Diablo Technologies, a proven innovator in high-performance memory system interface products, today announced that it will be exhibiting its Memory Channel Storage™ (MCS™) architecture at the 2014 Structure Data Conference, March 19-20 in New York City. Diablo will demonstrate the breakthrough advances in flash storage performance and scalability for I/O-intensive workloads in Booth No. 6.

Diablo's MCS technology puts NAND Flash into a standard DIMM form factor, and enables it to interface with the CPU via DDR3 at near-DRAM speeds. Memory Channel Storage allows for extremely large "big data" sets to be placed entirely within the NUMA system architecture, resulting in real-time processing and analytics. MCS significantly minimizes storage latency and provides a level of predictability that cannot be attained with pre-existing flash storage technologies. With the MCS architecture, systems in big data clusters, such as Hadoop, have access to terabytes of deterministic, ultra-low latency persistent memory, creating the most scalable platform for big data computing.
