Deward Watts to Lead CSC's Commercial Healthcare Practice


EL SEGUNDO, Calif., Oct. 30 - Computer Sciences Corporation (NYSE: CSC) announced today that Deward Watts has been named vice president and managing partner of its Global Health Solutions (GHS) practice. Watts joined CSC in 1996 and most recently served as national director of the GHS healthcare payer/provider practice.

In his new role, Watts is responsible for all commercial healthcare consulting and systems integration projects in the United States, including those for life sciences companies, health plans and healthcare providers. He also chairs CSC's Global Healthcare Leadership Council, which includes the leaders of CSC's healthcare practices in the United Kingdom, continental Europe, Canada and Asia, as well as the healthcare leadership serving the United States Government.

Prior to joining CSC, Watts held partner positions with both Arthur Young & Company and Ernst & Young. His Ernst & Young accomplishments include chairing an international task force charged with developing the firm's European consulting strategy.

Watts holds a bachelor's degree in computer and information sciences from Ohio State University.
