Engineering Systems Inc. (ESI) is pleased to announce the addition of David L. Ahearn, P.E., Staff Engineer, to the company's Atlanta (Norcross), GA office staff. Mr. Ahearn is a graduate of the University of Alabama, where he received his B.S. in Civil Engineering and his M.S. in Materials Science and Metallurgical Engineering. He is also a licensed Professional Engineer in the state of Alabama.
Mr. Ahearn specializes in failure analysis, fractography, civil engineering design, construction contracts and permitting, water/wastewater engineering, municipal engineering services, surveying and land law. He has over five years of civil engineering experience and over three years of hands-on construction and project management experience.
Mr. Ahearn is a member of professional organizations, has published work and made numerous presentations at industry conferences and meetings on various topics. These topics include storm water design and research on ballistic failure of impact resistant glass.
