DataLase Appoints New Technical Services Manager for Edible 'On Tablet' Marking Solution

(October 20, 2006) - DataLase originators of the award-winning DataLase process announces the appointment of Anthony Jarvis as Technical Services Manager for the company's novel 'on tablet' edible marking solution. Anthony Jarvis joins DataLase with the aim to commercialize the company's new DataLase PHARMAMARK solution which is due to launch in late 2006.
Anthony Jarvis is a research and development scientist with extensive experience in delivering development projects in line with strategic objectives and immediate business needs. Previously working as an R&D Scientist for both ColorMatrix Europe Ltd and Unilever R&D, Anthony brings to DataLase a wealth of experience of working within laboratories. Anthony also holds a PhD in Applied Organic Chemistry from the University of Leeds and a B.Sc. (Hons) Degree in Colour and Polymer Chemistry also from the University of Leeds where he was awarded the 'SDC Centenary prize' on the basis of his examination results.
Anthony will be responsible for providing support and assistance on technical issues to both the sales team and customers. Anthony's role at DataLase will also involve the provision of technical advice to customers, preparation of customer samples and providing assistance on customer trials. With broad management and project development experience, Anthony is a competent and skilled team leader, with considerable experience in experiment design. Additionally Anthony is a named inventor on eight patent applications, of which at least 3 made it to product launch, indicating his ability to bring the DataLase PHARMAMARK product to the forefront of the commercial market.
The revolutionary DataLase PHARMAMARK system overcomes many of the deficiencies of alternative tablet marking systems, for example it does not cause cracks or damage to tablets, no extraneous undesired ink spots to affect machine readability oraesthetics and in addition to this there are no issues with ink drying times.
