"Manufacturing in Motion" - Insight on Digital Manufacturing Applications and Benefits
Auburn Hills, MI., USA, - Dassault Systèmes (Nasdaq: DASTY: Euronext Paris: #13065, DSY.PA), has announced the dates and locations of its 2007 DELMIA Worldwide Customer Conferences titled "Manufacturing in Motion." The North American conference will take place at the Hyatt Regency in Dearborn, Michigan on October 3-4. DELMIA will also hold a European conference in Stuttgart, Germany on October 16-17, and an Asia Pacific event in Yokohama, Japan on November 7-8. These annual conferences provide a forum for prominent representatives of various industries to exchange ideas and information about the impact of digital manufacturing in product creation.
The North American conference will feature an opening day keynote address, aerospace and automotive industry keynote addresses, followed by industry presentations. Additionally, DELMIA CEO Philippe Charlès will speak on how DELMIA is positioned to meet today's product development and manufacturing challenges, and an analyst wrap-up is scheduled to take place at the end of the day.
Day two of the conference will feature "How To" sessions and workshops based on best practices structured in a manner that allows attendees to maximize their time and investment in the conference by choosing topics that are most applicable to their industry and application focus.
Last year, more than 1,800 people attended the DELMIA User Conferences worldwide. These annual conferences provide a forum for representatives of various industries including automotive, aerospace, shipbuilding, PP&P (Process, Power & Petroleum), and others, to exchange ideas and information about the impact of digital manufacturing in product creation. In addition to the executive presentations and workshop focus, there are partner exhibit booths, and hospitality events.
