With more than a decade of experience in a variety of progressing leadership roles throughout the Barry-Wehmiller organization, Minor will join HayssenSandiacre to lead the new machinery teams in the growth and expansion of its domestic and international markets in vertical and horizontal flexible packaging equipment solutions.
"Founded in 1910 and now celebrating its 100th year, HayssenSandiacre has become one of the largest and most well-balanced providers of flexible packaging technology in the market," May stated. Minor joined the engineering consulting firm of Barry-Wehmiller Design Group in 1999 as a project engineer and later advanced to the role of project manager. "His superior technical ability, effective communication skills and strong personal leadership certainly helped create organizational success for PneumaticScaleAngelus. Dan has developed into a strong leader and will leave a positive and lasting effect on our division. Dan continues his leadership journey with HayssenSandiacre, where I am confident he will inspire and motivate his team members to evolve to the next level."
Commenting on his new role, Minor said, "Over the past 11 years, I have had the privilege of being part of both the Barry-Wehmiller Design Group and PneumaticScaleAngelus teams, where I have witnessed firsthand the powerful impact of Barry-Wehmiller's unique people-centric leadership philosophy. I am both humbled and honored to be entrusted with this new role, and I embrace the opportunity to work with the loyal, dedicated and highly motivated HayssenSandiacre team members in serving our customers and growing our leadership position in the flexible packaging industry."
Prior to joining Barry-Wehmiller, Minor served as an officer in the U.S. Navy. He holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and a master's degree in business strategy and policy management. He and his wife, Kristi, live in Spartanburg, S.C., with their children, Jessica, 13, and Mason, 9.
