CONTENT WORLD, Washington, D.C. - Open Text Corporation, (NASDAQ: OTEX, TSX: OTC) today announced that DLA Document Services is offering the Open Text ECM Suite, Content Lifecycle Management (CLM) solutions to U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) agencies, providing easier, more cost effective ways for all branches of the military to access and manage the lifecycle of content, including important records and email documents in SharePoint, among others. Open Text announced the news this week at Content World, its annual industry conference underway this week in Washington, D.C.
DLA Document Services is the catalyst for document automation in the DoD by actively functioning as a transformation agent to move the department toward the use of online documents and services. As part of its mission, DLA Document Services works with its military customers to consolidate records and storage, reduce paper, provide easy to use content management and search capabilities, and create efficiencies through workflow and records management. To help it fulfill this mission, DLA Document Services has selected Open Text as a core technology and implementation provider, tapping Open Text's extensive ECM solutions and expertise in helping organizations manage content more effectively.
