Press release date: April 15, 2014

Alum Bank, PA – Creative Pultrusions, Inc. (CPI) and Ebert Composites Corporation (ECC) have entered into a manufacturing and marketing agreement, whereas CPI will house three TRANSONITE® production machines at their Alum Bank, Pennsylvania, manufacturing facility. The TRANSONITE® panel will be marketed to an array of industries where lightweight, corrosion resistant, multidirectional Fiberglass Reinforced Polymer (FRP) products are warranted.

ECC is an innovative composites research and development company located in San Diego, California. Their workforce includes some of the brightest engineering minds in the industry, which has allowed ECC to defy what was once thought impossible, creating new composite product opportunities of the highest strength, lightest weight, while still maintaining stylish design. ECC, over the past 22 years, has consistently brought new composite products to market, maintaining important features and benefits.

TRANSONITE® is a registered trademark and is manufactured under one or more of the following U.S. Patents: #7,056,576, #7,217,453, #7,785,693, #7,846,528, #7,387,147, #6,676,785, #6,645,333, #7,105,071, and #8,002,919.

Shane Weyant, Chief Executive Officer/President states, "With the opportunity to represent and manufacture TRANSONITE® panels, CPI will have vast opportunities in several markets, due to the distinct advantages that this 3-D sandwich panel offers in overall performance." David Johnson, Chief Executive Officer of ECC said, "I echo Mr. Weyant's comments, as multiple industries will now have available, a light-weight, non-delaminating sandwich panel, with performance never before available."

CPI is a world-class pultruder that utilizes the most advanced manufacturing processes to provide high-end profiles. Originally founded in 1973, CPI was acquired by Hill & Smith Holdings PLC (HS) in September 2008.
