Press release date: October 12, 2010

MINNEAPOLIS, MN - October 12, 2010 -- http://www.testedandproven.com/-- - Cryopak, the leader and innovator in temperature controlled products, is excited to announce the addition of Ray Pidock to the family of companies. Pidock is the latest addition to the business development team and is responsible for the Midwest territory.

Pidock's early background was on the operations side managing warehouse and distribution facilities in Columbus, OH. His technical business development experience began with materials dispensing and lubrication at the F. D. Johnson Company. Pidock's packaging career started with odd-form packaging in the electronics assembly area at GPAX Incorporated. Odd-forms include products such as displays, speakers and vibrator motors - typical components in cellular phones. These components change rapidly and require new package designs every year.

After working in the composites field for 7 years, Pidock moved to molded EPS foam. His first endeavor in cold chain packaging was building the PharmaTuff(TM) and ThermalTuff(TM) products lines that eventually lead him to TCP Reliable and Cryopak(TM). Market research showed there was a big gap between the product offerings of cold chain companies, such as TCP Reliable and those of the typical EPS molding. "

"The regulatory scrutiny we see today is forcing the market to look at the quality and performance of their insulated shipping containers," Pidock said. "Now it is time for the next generation of product. A product that overcomes the stigma attached to molded EPS by developing products that combine better performance with reduced materials and sustainability. I believe the TCP family of companies has the skills and products to build this new tier of packaging products."

Pidock will join Cryopak's current team of technical experts in an effort to continually serve the cold chain industry with products' designed to protect temperature sensitive products during transit. He has been tasked with building a true Midwest presence for Cryopak.

"Hiring Ray was a strategic move on our part to continually expand our services and improve our products for the pharmaceutical and biotech markets," Maurice Barakat, President and CEO of TCP Reliable said. "We are eager to take advantage of his tenured experience in the industry of cold chain."

"I am joining a talented group that has been helping companyies ensure product integrity for their cold chain products for many years," Pidock said. "I am very exctied to be a part of this team."
