Press release date: January 11, 2011

Super Seal now installs in three to five minutes; the HVAC/R industrys fastest installing sealant for R-410A systems.

Cliplight Mfg., Toronto, the pioneer and the HVAC industrys largest-selling refrigeration sealant brand with more than 1 million applications, has introduced the Quick 7-Step, a fast three to five-minute installation procedure for applying Super Seal vacuum-packed leak sealants to all air conditioning/refrigeration (ac/r) systems including R-410A.

Developed from contractor focus group feedback and later confirmed as safe by Cliplight laboratory research, the Quick 7-Step is a more user-friendly and streamlined step-by-step guide for faster Super Seal installation. The Quick 7-Step procedure is now depicted on a card insert and will eventually appear on the can label in packages of Super Seal Classic and Total as well as Cliplights Dry-R drying agent and Flash dye. Cliplights revised, but more detailed instructions will remain in each package in English, French and Spanish.

The Quick 7-Step three to five-minute procedure makes Super Seal the HVAC industrys fastest installing sealant for R-410A systems versus hydrocarbon propellant-based sealant cans, which cant be applied to R-410A systems without pump down or labor-intensive evacuating, recovering and re-charging the entire system. Unlike all competing sealant brands, Super Seals patented vacuum-packed can design meets ARI-700 purity standards because it uses the systems refrigerant to charge the can and inject the sealant. Additionally the patented hose orifice, which regulates sealant flow and prevents liquid slugging during injection, is included with every purchase.

The Quick 7-Step installation procedure is also part of Cliplights expanding product information services featuring new online Quick 7-Step video demonstrations at www.cliplight.com/hvacr, YouTube and Facebook. Cliplight has also added Jesse Homenuik, technical support and R&D Lab Associate, who is a certified ac/r service technician that troubleshoots leak problems and answers sealant application questions every weekday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Eastern Standard Time with Cliplights information hotline, 1-866-548-3644 or jhomenuik@cliplight.com.
