CHARLOTTE, Mich., April 1, 2011 -- Spartan Motors, Inc. (Nasdaq:SPAR) today announced it has completed the acquisition of Classic Fire, a designer and manufacturer of fire apparatus known for performance, innovation and practicality. The acquisition was announced on March 7, 2011 with a transaction close date of April 1st.
