Cimatron to Exhibit New Tool Shop Optimization Solutions at IMTS 2006

Cimatron, a leading provider of integrated CAD/CAM solutions for the tooling industry, will exhibit a number of newly introduced solutions at the 2006 International Manufacturing Technology Show (IMTS). IMTS will take place September 6-13, 2006 at McCormick Place, Chicago, IL.
Most significant among these solutions is a new version of Cimatron's flagship CAD/CAM suite, Version 7.1 of Cimatron E. With outstanding Change Management, hybrid CAD functions optimized for tooling, new and improved applicative tools, and enhanced catalog capabilities, CimatronE 7.1 is a best of breed integrated solution for mold designers.

CimatronE Version 7.1 features solutions such as the first commercially available Micro Milling NC application and advanced 5-axis milling. Cimatron's new dedicated software for 5-Axis Production gives experts productive tools they need to create highly-efficient, gouge-free toolpaths that produce complex parts with high surface quality. It enables 5-Axis NC manufacturers to gain greater efficiency and achieve shorter delivery times.
Also new to the Cimatron suite is an innovative Electrode supplement, CimatronE EDM. An industry first, CimatronE EDM automates the daunting task of manually programming EDM Die Sinkers. Tailored to individual EDM machines and specific user needs, CimatronE EDM eliminates human errors and drastically reduces programming times.
