Brent Malik Joins Hypertherm as District Sales Manager, Michigan
Hypertherm is very pleased to announce that on August 14, 2006 Mr. Brent Malik joined Hypertherm as District Sales Manager for Michigan and Northern Ohio. Brent will be replacing Alan Hughes, who retired earlier this year.
With nearly a decade of industrial sales experience with D-M-E, a manufacturer of tooling, electronic controls, and molding components, Brent is well prepared to drive end-user awareness and demand for Hypertherm systems, consumables, and support of our distribution in the Michigan sales region. Brent has exhibited a consistent record of increasing sales revenues, excellent distributor management and execution of sales training programs. These qualifications ensure that he will be highly effective in supporting Hypertherm's sales growth in both the manual and mechanized areas of the business. He will be responsible for managing the sales, training, and marketing activities in this area, along with strengthening existing distributor relationships.
Brent worked for D-M-E from 1998 to present, prior to which he was a sales representative for Choice Mold Components. His educational background includes a Bachelors Degree from Oakland University in Rochester Hills Michigan, and he is currently pursuing an MBA from Lawrence Technology University, in Southfield.
