Borton-Lawson Selected as a Project Finalist for Bentley Systems' International Be Inspired Awards Competition


WILKES-BARRE, PA - Borton-Lawson was recently selected as a project finalist for the international Be Inspired Awards Competition. This competition is hosted by software company, Bentley Systems, Inc., a leader in providing comprehensive software solutions for sustaining infrastructure. Borton-Lawson was selected as a finalist in the Innovation in Bridges category, with the submission of the firm's Lehigh / Pohopoco Bridge Replacement project in Carbon County, PA. This project was also awarded the 2012 ACEC/PA Grand Conceptor Award earlier this year.

The Be Inspired Awards honor the extraordinary work of Bentley software users improving and sustaining the world's infrastructure. Five independent panels of jurors, comprising of accomplished Bentley users and distinguished industry experts, selected the 58 finalists from nominations submitted by organizations in 39 countries. The winners of the Be Inspired Awards will be announced at the invitation-only Be Inspired: Innovations in Infrastructure event scheduled for November 13-14, 2012, in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
