Houghto-Draw® 7060-B from Houghton International Inc. is a heavy-duty, bio-stable lubricant that can be used for drawing and stamping a variety of metals such as high and low carbon steel, alloy steels and more. Houghto-Draw 7060-B was specifically formulated for use on yellow metals.
Water-soluble Houghto-Draw 7060-B protects metals without staining, and it provides excellent corrosion protection with in-process protection of machinery parts. The lubricant also increases tool and die life and improves surface finish.
Houghto-Draw 7060-B is compatible with hard water. Because of its bio-stable formula, the lubricant is clean running, which helps assure long, odor-free sump life. This is especially important in smaller recirculating systems where system re-charges are quite common due to microbiological issues. Houghto-Draw 7060-B will minimize system re-charges, thereby reducing maintenance costs and increasing production.
