Baker Joins Raymond as Manager of Marketing Communications

GREENE, N.Y. - The Raymond Corporation has named Richard Baker to the position of manager of marketing communications. In this role, Baker is responsible for managing Raymond's marketing efforts and strengthening the Raymond® brand in the marketplace. He will oversee the production of marketing materials, trade shows, corporate messaging and the company's Web site to ensure these marketing vehicles are in line with the company's strategic plan.

Baker's diverse background includes experience in brand management, digital media, database marketing and production in several markets, including the lift truck industry. Prior to joining Raymond, he was most recently director of marketing for Show Works, a Chicago-based event marketing and promotions agency.

"Rich's robust credentials and experience in the material handling industry make him a tremendous asset to the Raymond marketing team," says David Furman, vice president of marketing for The Raymond Corporation. "His contributions will support Raymond's continued growth in the industry."

Baker received a master's degree in communications from St. Louis University and a master's degree in advertising study from Northwestern University in Evanston, Ill.
