Managed E-Mail Appliances simplify migration, reduce e-mail cost and complexity

REDMOND, Wash., March 21 // -- Azaleos Corporation (www.azaleos.com), leading provider of managed, turnkey e-mail solutions for highly available Microsoft Exchange, today launched a completely updated line of OneServer(TM) E-Mail Appliances for Microsoft Exchange Server 2007. The new OneServer product family includes:

o OneServer for High Reliability -- Turnkey E-Mail Appliance for up to
1,000 users
o OneServer for High Availability -- Clustered e-mail solution that
delivers up to 99.999% availability
o BladeMail -- Clustered e-mail solution on blades supporting up to
42,000 users per system

Augmented by Azaleos OneStop Managed Services, OneServer appliances provide the most cost effective way for organizations of all sizes to rapidly migrate to Exchange Server 2007, while also ensuring a highly available, managed e-mail infrastructure.

OneServer Product Family

OneServer for High Reliability (OneServer HR) is a 2U form factor, turnkey hardware solution that integrates two to six highly available SAS drives, and scales further by connecting to iSCSI storage solutions. On deployment, OneServer HR supports up to 1,000 users with 1-gigabyte mailboxes and integrates Exchange 2007 Local Continuous Replication capabilities to support rapid recovery in case of store corruption. OneServer HR can be expanded to support up to 6,000 users with additional RAM and an appropriate iSCSI storage solution.

OneServer for High Availability (OneServer HA) combines two OneServer units in a turnkey, clustered, highly available Exchange mailbox server configuration. Built for redundancy in case of hardware failures, OneServer HA integrates Exchange 2007 Cluster Continuous Replication capabilities to maintain a copy of the Exchange store on two separate server nodes, or on iSCSI attached storage.

OneServer for Client Access (OneServer CA) is a combined Client Access and Exchange Hub Transport configuration that delivers e-mail routing, Outlook Web Access, and mobile device access capabilities.

BladeMail(TM) supports up to 14 blades, ensuring highly available Exchange mail and providing scalability for the most demanding organizations. Each BladeMail blade may be configured in any OneServer configuration described above.

OneServer Features

OneServer includes integrated platform software and server hardware -- Microsoft Windows 2003 (64-bit) and Exchange 2007, on optimized, multiprocessor 64-bit server hardware. All Azaleos OneServer E-Mail Appliances include MigrateXchange(TM) capabilities for simplified, rapid migration from previous versions of Microsoft Exchange, Lotus Notes, and Novell Groupwise. Azaleos solutions can also include patent-pending ArchiveXchange(TM), SecureXchange(TM), and ViewXchange(TM) software. These optional components provide remote management, monitoring, and archiving of the Exchange environment via Azaleos OneStop Services.

ViewXchange(TM) is a visualization and reporting system for Exchange that works with the Azaleos real-time monitoring system to deliver e-mail appliance health and hygiene information to Azaleos Network Operations Centers (NOC). In the NOC, Azaleos personnel troubleshoot and repair Exchange issues seven days a week, 24 hours a day. ViewXchange provides IT staff with reports on Exchange health, e-mail traffic (both incoming and outgoing), message hygiene (including SPAM and virus activity), archiving, and mobility statistics.

SecureXchange(TM) is a remote command-and-control system that enables logged, auditable, repeatable, scripted remote command execution. SecureXchange helps Azaleos staff to troubleshoot and repair issues in the Exchange environment without requiring companies to provide an insecure Virtual Private Network connection. SecureXchange bases its audit and change control mechanism on techniques defined by the Microsoft Operations Framework (MOF) or the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL), and helps organizations map their business processes to a framework of best practices, facilitating the delivery of high quality IT services.

ArchiveXchange(TM) is a complete solution for archiving e-mail for storage management. ArchiveXchange improves Exchange performance, reduces Exchange backup and recovery times, and eliminates much of the need for Exchange-based quota management. ArchiveXchange helps IT contain the rapid growth of e-mail by removing content from the Exchange server, indexing and storing it in searchable folders for later retrieval by users accessing mail via Outlook, Web browsers, or mobile devices.
