Southington, Conn. -- May 16, 2011... Rick Argo has joined Baumer Ltd. as a Regional Sales Manager. In his new position, Mr. Argo will oversee product sales for the company's sensor and motion lines in the southeastern United States.
Mr. Argo brings to his new position more than 11 years of experience as a regional sales manager in the U.S. industrial automation and controls market. For the last 4 years, he served as east coast regional sales manager for Contrinex, a Swiss sensor manufacturer with US operations based in Old Saybrook Connecticut, where he supervised sales in 22 states. Prior to Contrinex, Mr. Argo represented EE Controls of Brewster, New York, for 7 years as a regional sales manager with responsibility for sales in 16 states.
Mr. Argo earned a BA in Political Science from The University of North Carolina at Charlotte. He currently resides in Charlotte, NC.
