Turley to Manage Company's Controls Engineering Department Including Management of Hardware & Software Design and Field Support

Orion, Michigan - Sept 27, 2010 - Applied Manufacturing Technologies (AMT), a leading supplier of factory automation design, engineering and process consulting services today announced the appointment of Edward Turley as the company's new Controls Department Manager. Mr. Turley will be responsible for managing the Controls Engineering Department including management of hardware & software design and all field support activities.

Prior to joining AMT Mr. Turley most recently held key management positions at Esys Corporation, one of the largest service providers of open architecture PLC control systems. Prior to that he worked at Electronic Data Systems, a billion dollar global IT outsourcing company, where he was responsible for the planning, execution, monitoring and controlling of multiple plant IT systems. Mr. Turley is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) having received his PMP certification from the University of Michigan at Dearborn.
