APX Enclosures and Coatings is please to announce the addition of Lynn Hospelhorn as Manager of Control Systems Integration. Lynn will head the new expansion of APX products that furnishes turn-key electrical and electronic controls and power distribution systems utilizing APX enclosures for a wide range of commercial and industrial applications.

Lynn comes to APX from ISP Minerals where he served as Electrical Project Manager for ISP,s four production facilities. Prior to joining ISP Lynn served as Corporate Project Engineer with Nursery supplies in charge of machine control systems and plant expansion projects for four different plants. Before joining Nursery Supplies, Lynn served for eleven years at Grove Worldwide as Systems Manager for computerized safety systems on hydraulic cranes. Lynn's first assignment was with Landis Tool Company first on the Journeyman Machinist Apprenticeship Trade and then as Senior Project Manager in Electronics Research and Development

Lynn graduated from the three-year Apprenticeship Program at Landis Tool Company and holds an Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering from Penn State University.

Lynn brings to APX extensive knowledge in the application of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC,s), motor control with variable frequency drives (VFD,s), Human machine interfaces (HMI,s), servo motors and controllers, Universal Power Supplies (UPS), power distribution and hydraulics and pneumatics. He is also expert in Thermal Imaging.

Lynn's expertise in machine tool control systems, hydraulic crane controls, plastics manufacturing controls, mining industry controls and power distribution should serve him well in his new assignment. Lynn is determined to position APX at the forefront of enclosures with integrated controls.
