Francis Y.D. Hou Promoted to Asia-Pacific General Manager
East Hanover, NJ, USA (June 26, 2007) - Anderol, Inc., a leading worldwide manufacturer of synthetic specialty lubricants, recently promoted Francis Y.D. Hou to Asia Pacific general manager from his previous appointment as general manager for Greater China. Dr. Gary Babic, former manager South Asian salesfrom Bangkok, Thailand, has relocated to North America to assume a new position of Senior Account Manager for Anderol's North American business.
In his new capacity, Hou will be primarily responsible for strategic business planning, sales and marketing and key account management for Anderol in Asia Pacific. Hou, based in Anderol's China office located in Guangzhou, will manage South Asian sales and operations in addition to his existing responsibilities for Greater China, which includes mainland China, Taiwan and Hong Kong. Territories within Hou's South Asian scope are Korea, Australia and the countries affiliated with the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN).
As Babic relocates to North America, his responsibilities for the Asia-Pacific region will be handed over to Hou, who will continue to drive ANDEROL® brands in Asia. Having served the Asian market for 11 years, Babic has a deep understanding of Asia's business, culture and technological needs and will work closely with Hou during this transition.
Hou's promotion comes on the heels of Anderol's new warehousing capabilities in Guangzhou Free Trade Zone (GFTZ), which will allow for better inventory management and increased service speeds across Asia Pacific. With the capacity to better serve the region from a central location, Anderol, Inc. Guangzhou Representative Office's facilities will play a pivotal role in supporting a diverse customer base in wide-ranging applications such as air compression, aviation, food & beverage, mining, oil & gas, and power generation.

Prior to joining Anderol in 2003, Hou spent 10 years working to build various markets and cultivate customer relationships for multinational companies including GE Plastics, Shell and Castrol. He holds a master's degree in chemical engineering from Central South University, Changsha, China.
Hou will continue to plan, develop and drive business initiatives in the Asia-Pacific region as well as provide customers with a high level of quality service.
