Press release date: January 23, 2014

SARASOTA, Fla. - AlphaPoint Technology, Inc., (OTCBB APPO) a leader in DCIM and ITAM solutions for global enterprises, announced today that PSL, its Go-to-Market partner and systems integrator, has completed a key milestone in its technology roadmap by converting its flagship application, AssetCentral™, from an on-premise/hosting architecture to a production Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) model.  James McGriff, President/CTO for PSL stated, "We understand that cloud programs are only as effective as the technology they're built upon. With AssetCentral, data center customers now have a single, powerful, always up, maintainable infrastructure that enables rapid, large scale deployment in a matter of hours, as opposed to weeks and months." The inherent advantages of AssetCentral's First-to-Market, Data Center IT Asset Management production SaaS platform, assures the long-term growth and evolution of data center asset management environments, while reducing costs associated with hardware installations, software licenses, system maintenance, storage and upgrades.

Gary Macleod, President of AlphaPoint remarked that "AssetCentral's simplicity and ease of use has consistently ranked as the most desirable feature over its competitors.  Now with AssetCentral's new infrastructure SaaS platform, we are able respond to requested customer enhancements in a faster, more efficient, and reliable manner."

The new production SaaS platform has also improved AssetCentral's open APIs (application program interfaces), which now boast a programmable interface for "tightly integrating" existing Web applications and services. To "tightly integrate" allows for the creation of systems, versus simple portals, and requires functions for interfacing with other plug-ins and data within the system, as defined by the security protocol requested by the Department of Defense (DoD) community.  This latest development continues to drive keen interest from customers.  AlphaPoint has already begun logging and beta testing potential customers on the new platform.
