Aerovox Corp. Announces Its New Manufacturing Partnership with Ningbo Shine Electrical Co. Ltd. in Ningbo, Zhejiang Province, China.

In view of the growing demand for Aerovox capacitors in China and Asia, Aerovox Corp. announces the expansion of its AC film capacitor manufacturing footprint with its new partner, Ningbo Shine Electrical Co. Ltd. located in Ningbo, Zhejiang Province, China. A dedicated factory in the Beilun Free Trade Zone (close to Port of Ningbo) has been set up to produce Aerovox engineered capacitors for export as well as for domestic sales.
This partnership brings exciting news to the AC film capacitor industry as the combination of product and manufacturing experiences of the two companies will greatly benefit customers, both in the US and China. Aerovox is a leading manufacturer of AC and DC film capacitors supporting the lighting, motor run, power factor correction and other specialty products in the US, while Ningbo Shine Electrical Co. Ltd. is a leading Chinese manufacturer of AC film capacitors.
General purpose, lighting, and motor run capacitors are being manufactured at the Beilun facility that meet EIA-456 standards to support the high quality and reliability requirements of our customers.
