DiMarco Honored by the San Francisco Business Times
SAN FRANCISCO - November 19, 2007 - Advent Software, Inc. (NASDAQ: ADVS), the leading provider of software and solutions for the investment management industry, today announced that Stephanie DiMarco, Advent's founder and Chief Executive Officer, has been named Most-Admired CEO of a small public company by the San Francisco Business Times.
Under DiMarco's steadfast leadership, Advent has become one of the world's leading providers of software and services to the investment management industry. From its founding in 1983 to record annual revenues last year, DiMarco has built Advent into a global company with 4,500 clients in 60 countries around the world.
In receiving this honor, DiMarco was recognized for her outstanding contributions to the technology industry and the community, as well as her personal commitment to Advent's financial performance and innovation. Award recipients were selected by a panel of judges comprised of San Francisco Business Times journalists and several Bay Area business leaders.

Prior to founding Advent almost 25 years ago, DiMarco worked in the investment industry as a financial analyst and portfolio manager. She currently serves on the Advisory Board of the College of Engineering at the University of California, Berkeley, and is a board member of the San Francisco Foundation, where she chairs the Foundation's Investment committee. DiMarco holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of California at Berkeley.
