Adhesives Research Hires New Engineered Tapes Market Manager, ARcare® Division
GLEN ROCK, Pa. (September 19, 2006) - Adhesives Research, Inc., a leading global developer and manufacturer of high-performance pressure-sensitive adhesives, tapes, specialty coatings, films, and laminates, is pleased to announce the hiring of Michael Deck as Engineered Tapes Market Manager, ARcare® Division.
Deck comes to Adhesives Research from Bristol-Myers Squibb, where he worked as a territory business manager and had responsibility for driving market share and volume growth of five critical cardiovascular and infectious disease franchises in the south central PA region. Previously, Deck worked as a sales engineer at The Trane Company and Koebert Associates (KAI), both in Baltimore, Md. A resident of Landisville, Pa., Deck earned a B.S. in Engineering from the Pennsylvania State University and a B.A. from Elizabethtown College.
As Engineered Tapes Market Manager, Deck is responsible for identifying new engineered tape market segments and applications in North America. He helps to position the company's overall range of PSA and other technologies into applications to offer maximum value to Adhesives Research and its customers. Deck works with customers' research, design, and manufacturing engineers on current issues and to determine new needs for new products.
