ARINC and Cistera Networks Announce a Digital Voice Recording and Management Solution for Cisco IPICS

Annapolis, Maryland, USA, February 28, 2008-ARINC Incorporated and Cistera Networks, Inc.® (OTCBB: CNWT) today announced a successful integration of the Cistera Digital LMR (Land Mobile Radio) Recording Solution with Cisco Internet Protocol Interoperability and Collaboration System (IPICS). ARINC and Cistera demonstrated the solution this week at the International Wireless Communication Expo (IWCE) Booth 1828 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The integrated solution means fast, easy digital voice recording and management-as seen in IP telephony-is available to enhance interoperable communications between law enforcement, public safety, emergency response, and local government radio systems.
Cisco IPICS creates a bridge between today's incompatible voice and data systems-such as Land Mobile Radios, PBXs, PSTN telephones, cellular phones, digital wireless, and Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) systems.
"With the integration of Cistera's LMRRecord onto the Cisco IPICS platform via the ARINC AWINS system architecture, all types of emergency communications can now be uniformly preserved, reviewed and analyzed," said Derek Downs, President and CEO, Cistera Networks. Unlike familiar analog voice recording systems, Cistera LMRRecord enables automated user logging, on-demand message forwarding, real-time and delayed analysis, and exact duplication of messages without degradation.
