ANSI Releases Two Revisions to requirements, procedures.

January 11, 2012 - Included within 2012 edition of ANSI Essential Requirements: Due process requirements for American National Standards (ANSI Essential Requirements), one revision clarifies outreach requirements in clause 1.3 Balance. Within 2012 edition of ANSI Procedures for U.S. Participation in the International Standards Activities of ISO (ANSI International Procedures), there is one revision that clarifies voting requirements in clause 2.5.5.5 Transfer of U.S. TAG Administrator.

The American National Standards Institute (ANSI) is pleased to announce the availability of two key documents:

2012 edition, ANSI Essential Requirements: Due process requirements for American National Standards (ANSI Essential Requirements)

2012 edition, ANSI Procedures for U.S. Participation in the International Standards Activities of ISO (ANSI International Procedures) The 2012 edition of the ANSI Essential Requirements includes one revision to clarify outreach requirements in clause 1.3 Balance. View a version of the document with the revision displayed.

The revised edition of the ANSI International Procedures contains one revision to clarify voting requirements in clause 2.5.5.5 Transfer of U.S. TAG Administrator. View a version of the document with the revision displayed.

The revisions that have been incorporated into these documents have been subjected to public review via ANSI's Standards Action and approved by the ANSI Executive Standards Council (ExSC) and the ANSI Board of Directors' National Policy Committee (NPC).
