ANADIGICS Ships Production Volumes of Single-Band and Dual-Band Power Amplifiers for Samsung Galaxy Note II Available Through Verizon Wireless, Sprint, and Several Carriers in the United States and Asia

WARREN, N.J. - ANADIGICS, Inc. (Nasdaq: ANAD), a world leader in radio frequency (RF) solutions, today announced that the Company is shipping production volumes of its ALT6702, ALT6725, AWC6323 AWC6325, and AWT6624 LTE, CDMA, and WCDMA power amplifiers (PAs) to Samsung Electronics for the new Galaxy Note II. The Verizon Wireless model of the Samsung Galaxy Note II uses ANADIGICS' AWC6323 power amplifier, while the Sprint model is powered by the Company's ALT6702 and AWC6323 power amplifiers. Additional models for several wireless carriers in the United States and Asia use one or a combination of ANADIGICS single-band and dual-band power amplifiers.

Samsung's Galaxy Note II continues the evolution of a new class of converged devices that blend the functionality and form factors of both smartphones and tablets, commonly referred to as a "phablet." This feature-rich device offers an expansive 5.5-inch HD Super AMOLED screen, updated S Pen stylus, 8 megapixel camera, and 1.6 GHz quad-core processor. The Galaxy Note II ships with an expanded suite of software, including the new Android(TM) 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system.

"The selection of our high performance power amplifiers for the Galaxy Note II demonstrates the strength of the relationship forged between ANADIGICS and Samsung Electronics," said Michael Canonico, senior vice president of worldwide sales at ANADIGICS. "By working closely with top-tier wireless manufacturers, we have developed a comprehensive portfolio of power amplifier solutions that are optimized to deliver longer battery-life in smartphones and tablets. This performance advantage is backed by high-volume manufacturing prowess, outstanding quality, and exceptionally skilled applications teams to help our customers quickly bring to market leading-edge designs."

The ALT6702 and AWT6624 single-band, and ALT6725, AWC6323 and AWC6325 dual-band power amplifiers leverage the Company's patented design architectures and InGaP-Plus(TM) technology to deliver outstanding efficiency across all power levels. This level of performance helps to extend battery-life in handsets, smartphones, tablets, netbooks, and notebooks. ANADIGICS' power amplifiers also provide exceptional linearity and output power to ensure stable, high throughput data connectivity.
