Rehm Thermal Systems will present its globally recognized range of soldering technologies at this year's IPC APEX in San Diego. Rehm's technical team will be on hand with partner Technica at booth #3040 to demonstrate highlights of each of three of their soldering solutions.
The latest VisionXC Convection Reflow Oven has proven itself to be a flexible, productive and high value performer on the global stage, repeat orders and accolades from manufacturers with both volume and diversified product portfolios. Cost of ownership is measurably lower. Energy savings, low nitrogen consumption and rapid maintenance make the VXC a prime choice for prudent operations. Environmental awareness is a Rehm trademark, and the VXC boasts a high efficiency flux management system that maintains both a clean process chamber and clean external environment.
Rehm's Condenso Series has meanwhile continued to advance vapor phase technology. Uniquely incorporating a hermetically locked vacuum chamber, Condenso can combine Vacuum with the heating process. No movement of the board takes place from preheat through cooling; thus no risk of component movement. Condenso uses a horizontal conveyor to transport boards through the soldering system. Ensuring boards remain stationary; this unique technology further ensures components cannot be shifted out of place, thereby eliminating the disadvantages of vapor phase soldering systems which require continuous vertical motion of the boards. The documented results have been lower scrap rates and lower cost-of-ownership.
And, Condenso offers fully automated, in-line integrated board handling, another unique technology advantage from Rehm.
Rounding out Rehm's wide world of soldering will be our VS Series vacuum soldering systems. Vacuum dramatically reduces voids in solder joints, crucial for power electronics. They also support processes such as plasma cleaning and gas exchange for advanced packaging through the controlled use of gases during the soft-soldering process at temperatures up to 450 degrees Celsius.
