A-D Announces the Promotion of Stuart Mechlin to Senior Vice-President, Industrial Supply Division

KING OF PRUSSIA, Pa. - October 2, 2007 - Affiliated Distributors is pleased to announce the promotion of Stuart Mechlin to Senior Vice President, Industrial Supply Division (ISD).
"Stu's promotion reflects his personal leadership in building strong partnerships between A-D members and suppliers, enhancing communications with all stakeholders and delivering enhanced profitability and above industry growth to members and suppliers alike," said Bill Weisberg, CEO of Affiliated Distributors.
Stuart joined A-D in November 1999 as the Vice President of the Industrial Supply Division and is responsible for all distributor and supplier activity in that market. Prior to joining A-D, he was the Director of Marketing, North America for Fel-Pro Chemical Products, a major manufacturer of Maintenance, Repair and Operations (MRO) chemical products and an A-D supplier.
A-D's Industrial Supply Division is the largest buying/marketing group in the Industrial Industry with 128 Affiliates and 140 preferred Suppliers in U.S. and Canada with $5.3 billion in total Distributor sales. Total member sales through all five A-D Divisions exceeds $25 billion.
