Association calls for hazardous waste combustion abstracts.

Scheduled for Nov 12-14, 2008, Hazardous Waste Combustors Conference and Exhibition will address topics such as regulatory updates, emissions testing, operating and regulatory implementation approaches, monitoring and record keeping, and public communications and risk assessment. Association is seeking abstracts of 300 words or less demonstrating innovative, scientific approaches to investigation of hazardous waste combustion.

Air & Waste Management Association Issues Call for Abstracts on Issues Related to Hazardous Waste Combustion(Archive News Story - Products mentioned in this Archive News Story may or may not be available from the manufacturer.) Air & Waste Management Association Pittsburgh, PA (March 20, 2008) - The Air & Waste Management Association (A&WMA) has issued a call for abstracts for its Hazardous Waste Combustors Conference and Exhibition, to be held Nov. 12-14, 2008, in Galveston, TX.
The conference will focus on hazardous waste combustion and related regulatory issues. Topics will include regulatory updates; emissions testing; operating and regulatory implementation approaches; monitoring and record keeping; and public communications and risk assessment.
A&WMA is seeking abstracts demonstrating innovative, scientific approaches to the investigation of hazardous waste combustion. Suggested topics for abstracts include, but are not limited to, the following: o Regulatory and policy updates o HWC MACT implementation o Permits and compliance plans o Technical studies and program components o Reuse and recycling programs
Abstracts of 300 words or less should be submitted to A&WMA via the online abstract management system by May 9, 2008. Authors will be notified of acceptance by June 20, 2008.
