New CoreXL multi core acceleration technology in VPN-1 Power delivers deep security inspection without compromising performance
ORLANDO, FLA., May 30, 2007 - Check Point® Software Technologies Ltd. (NASDAQ: CHKP), the worldwide leader in securing the Internet, today announced VPN-1® Power(TM) with CoreXL. CoreXL extends the proven security found in VPN-1 Power, setting a new speed and security standard for today's corporate networks that must balance high bandwidth needs with strict security requirements.
Designed specifically to leverage open multi-core architectures such as the Quad-Core Intel® Xeon® Processor 5300 Series, VPN-1 Power with CoreXL is the first network security gateway to enable security administrators to gain data center level performance while activating intrusion prevention with a strict protection profile to protect against application layer threats.
